Join us in supporting the next generation of advocates at the School Meals for All NC Ambassadors Youth Leaders Advocacy Day! This special day is all about uplifting young leaders as they share their passion for no-cost school meals with North Carolina legislators.
Our youth ambassadors will be at the General Assembly, meeting with elected officials, sharing their stories, and advocating for healthy, nutritious meals for all students. As coalition members, community advocates, and supporters, your presence can make a big impact!
How You Can Support:
Join us for a boxed picnic lunch (11 AM – 2 PM) – Get to know the youth ambassadors, hear their stories, and engage in meaningful conversations about school meals. Boxed lunches are $10 and must be reserved by April 21st.
Provide encouragement – Your presence will help create a welcoming and supportive environment for these young advocates.
Meet with your legislators (optional) – If you’d like to schedule an appointment with your representative while you’re at the General Assembly, you’re welcome to do so directly.
This day is all about youth leadership, and we want to ensure they feel empowered and supported in their advocacy journey. Come out, enjoy lunch, and show these young changemakers that they are not alone in the fight for School Meals for All NC!
